Wilmington Grammar School Sixth Form Celebrates Outstanding A Level Success
Dave Fuller and Stuart Harrington (joint Heads of WG6) are delighted to celebrate another year of excellent A Level results, reflecting the dedication, resilience and ambition of our students.
We are immensely proud of the achievements of this year’s cohort, whose hard work and determination have enabled them to secure places at leading universities, highly competitive apprenticeships and other wide-ranging next steps. These outcomes are not simply a reflection of academic success; they represent the culmination of years of commitment, perseverance and personal growth.
At WG6, we firmly believe that exceptional results are achieved through partnership. Today’s success belongs not only to our students, but also to the outstanding staff who have inspired, challenged and supported them throughout their studies and to the parents and families whose encouragement has been invaluable. Together, this shared commitment to excellence has helped our young people fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
Behind every grade is a story. A story of a student overcoming challenges, embracing opportunities and working tirelessly to create a better future for themselves. These results are a testament to the character, determination and optimism that define this remarkable year group.
We congratulate all our students on their achievements and thank our staff and families for their unwavering support. We look forward with great confidence to seeing the positive impact our students will make as they embark upon the next stage of their journey.

Olivia P (left) A*A*A will be studying Law at Warwick, Olivia commented “Congratulations to all that got their results today! Thank you to all the teachers at WG6 who have made my experience so amazing and fulfilling. So excited to start Uni in September!”
Edna (right) A*A*A* “I have accepted my first-choice University where I will be studying Business with Law at Queen Mary’s University. I am so proud to have achieved these results and grateful for all the support from the teachers and support staff over the years!”
James (left) A*AA will be studying Accountancy and Finance at the University of Exeter “I have been at the school for many years and I’ve been helped by fantastic teachers all along the way.”
Franco (middle) A*AA “I am so happy with my results and so grateful to the school for not only teaching me but guiding me through the apprenticeship process”
Ryan C (right) an AAA student. “I want to thank my teachers for helping me to get to where I want to be – a degree apprenticeship in quantity surveying”
Alice P (left) A*A*B is off to study Law at the University of York “ I’m really pleased with the results – thank you Wilmington for all the support along the way.”
Jasmine R (right) AAA will study English Literature at the University of Sheffield “So happy – I settled in quickly and can’t stop smiling!”
William O, who achieved an impressive A*A*A* commented (very modestly!) “You just wouldn’t believe that you’ll be the one to achieve A*s!” William will start a degree apprenticeship in software engineering.
Arahi (left) A*AA and will be studying Medicine at Exeter University. “Really happy. I’m really looking forward to celebrating with my family. Thanks to all the staff for their support and guidance.”
Emilia Z (right) A*A*A will attend University of Oxford to study Human Sciences “So grateful to have joined the school and all the support given over the past two years. I couldn’t have done this without the support from the staff.”
Harry J – A*A*A. Harry starts a Degree Apprenticeship on Monday commenting “I am very happy with the results after all the hard work paid off. I’ll celebrate today before I look forward to starting at Barclays on Monday.”
Malahat (left) A*A*B who will study Law at Warwick commented, “I am so happy. I want to thank staff and students who have been so supportive.”
Casra (right) A*A*A is headed to UCL to study Computer Science and added “I’m quite happy with this strong set of results! Many thanks to all the people who supported me along the way. I’ll be going on to study Computer Science at university, and I’m looking forward to what comes next.”
Keira C commented on her results A*AA, “I’m very happy with my results and excited to start my degree apprenticeship soon. I am so grateful for all my teachers and their continued support over the last two years that has helped me achieve this!”
Lottie C will be attending Liverpool University to study Politics and Sociology having achieved AA*A* Lottie added, “Thank you to all of my teachers for their support – without them it just wouldn’t have been possible!”
